Art Therapy

What is Art Therapy?

Art therapy is a holistic and evidence-based mental health discipline that aims to improve the wellbeing of individuals, families and communities through creativity and interpersonal attunement.

Integrating psychotherapy with art, art therapists use art making and art materials to support participants:

  • Unpack feelings and unconscious materials
  • Resolve conflicts and develop self-awareness
  • Reduce anxiety and improve mood
  • Cultivate inner resources and strengthen resilience
